Desert View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Brown led the charge by scoring 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for her. Alexsandra Arce was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Sierra Linda's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Desert View, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.
Sierra Linda will square off against Sahuaro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sahuaro knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully Sierra Linda likes a good challenge. As for Desert View, they will head out on the road to face off against Estrella Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Estrella Foothills' favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Desert View has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
