Animo Watts was beaten by the Owls 89-26 on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Animo Watts in their matchups with the Owls: they've now lost four in a row.
Animo Watts struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
WISH Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keith Hartman, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Hartman is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Aidan Goldstein was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Animo Watts' defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for WISH Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
Animo Watts will be playing at home against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for WISH Academy, they will head out on the road to take on the Scorpions at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
