Mattoon won the last time they faced St. Thomas More and things went their way on Monday too. The Greenwave put the hurt on the Sabers with a sharp 5-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Mattoon, who have now won seven contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Mattoon has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four games. As for St. Thomas More, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mattoon will face off against Normal West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Thomas More, they will square off against Bloomington Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
