If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Bishop Fenwick. They and Greater Lowell Tech go head to head on Friday at 7:00 PM in their first playoff game of the year. Both teams are strolling into their matchup after big wins in their previous games.
Bishop Fenwick took the contest and then some with a 56-6 victory over Cardinal Spellman last Friday.
Meanwhile, Greater Lowell Tech might be getting used to good results now that the team has four wins in a row. They were fully in charge, breezing past Mystic Valley Regional 38-2. Followers of Greater Lowell Tech probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
Their wins bumped Bishop Fenwick to 7-1 and Greater Lowell Tech to 6-1. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
