The East Forsyth Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 54-35 fall against Mount Tabor. While losing is never fun, East Forsyth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Spartans are ranked 59th).
East Forsyth's loss came despite strong showings from Mya Booth and Landry Tsujii. Booth scored 15 points along with four blocks, while Tsujii scored eight points.
East Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Mount Tabor, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Forsyth won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
