Harrison put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Wood-Ridge Blue Devils as they made off with a 29-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blue Tide, who have now won five contests by 23 points or more so far this season.
Harrison was led to victory by Kasandra Rodriguez and Mya De Jesus. Rodriguez rushed for 79 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries, while De Jesus rushed for 29 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most rushing touchdowns De Jesus has posted since back in June of 2024.
Harrison's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Rebecca Sardinha was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks herself.
Harrison's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Wood-Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Coming up, Harrison will head out to take on Secaucus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wood-Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
