Baseball Recap: Alleghany Gets the Win

Alleghany came out on top against Staunton on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fourth inning. The Mountaineers walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Storm. The Mountaineers haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Alleghany's record is now 9-4. As for Staunton, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Alleghany and Staunton will both be playing Waynesboro the next time they take the field. The Mountaineers will host the Little Giants at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Storm will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on the 8th.
