On Saturday Concord take on Delcastle Technical at 10:30 AM. Concord come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-40, which was the final score in Concord's tilt against William Penn last Saturday. The state rankings had actually given Concord a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Delcastle Technical, and their matchup last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to four. They came up short against Newark, falling 22-35.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
