 In other batting news,  Kennedy Barshinger was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.  Ady Werner was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Amboy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Somonauk, they will square off against Newman Central Catholic at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Comets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.38  runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
