The biggest upset of the week belonged to Hanover Area, who took down 340th ranked Elmer L. Meyers, 42-36. Elido Veras ran for 64 yards and caught 3 passes for 93 yards during the win.
The Hawks moved up to 348 from 402 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Wyoming Valley 2. Hanover Area was able to move up by defeating the Mohawks 42-36.
Eric kerr was the best receiver in the league this week as Holy Redeemer lost to Wyoming Area. Kerr tallied 5 receptions for 124 yards. Pat Villani helped Holy Redeemer's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 10 yards.
The Royals' Jimmy Strickland and kerr have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Strickland has thrown for 1,085 yards this season, while kerr has 23 catches for 440 yards. Isaiah Taylor from Ron Hummer's team leads the league in rushing with 497 yards.
The top two teams in Wyoming Valley 2 will face off this week when first place Northwest Area takes on second place Lake-Lehman.

Lake-Lehman added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating GAR Memorial, 42-7. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
