Everything went Academic Magnet's way against Charleston Math & Science on Friday as the team secured a 58-20 win. The success made it back-to-back wins for Academic Magnet.
Academic Magnet's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 24 points in the first half. Charleston Math & Science came up with 14 to put the score at 24-14. The other side of the ball was dominant for Academic Magnet in the second half, holding Charleston Math & Science to a measly 6 points.
Steven Schlosser, who picked up 117 yards on the ground and threw 3 TDs, was a major factor in the success. Academic Magnet also got a significant boost from William Schnell, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 180 yards. The victory bumped their record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Charleston Math & Science's record to 0-2.
