Bethel Christian was led to victory by Braden Johnson and Rad Schenkenberger. Johnson scored 22 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Schenkenberger dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least a third of Bethel Christian's points. Gionni Munoz was another key contributor, scoring no points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Despite the loss, Dunsmuir still got an impressive performance from Michael Kellar, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. Kellar also posted two blocks for the first time this season.
The victory makes it two in a row for Bethel Christian and bumps their season record up to 2-7. As for Dunsmuir, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Bethel Christian will head out on the road to take on Happy Camp at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Happy Camp is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Dunsmuir, they will be playing at home against Hayfork at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Anthony Bonelli and Kellar.
