The Century Diamondbacks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 53-37 fall against Timberline. While losing is never fun, Century can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while Timberline is ranked fourth).
Timberline can attribute much of their success to Alex Ko, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sol Stands, who scored 12 points.
Century's defeat was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for Timberline, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Century will head out on the road to face off against Middleton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Timberline, they will be playing at home against Highland at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
