While Albany put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for DeRidder. The Hornets blew past the Dragons 10-0. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by seven runs or more this season.

Albany is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for DeRidder, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-19.

Albany will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Dragons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
