West Chicago will be up against a hot Glenbard East team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Rams put the hurt on Ridgewood with a sharp 12-5 win on Monday. Considering the Rams have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Melissa Saldana, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Kylie White was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

West Chicago never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Fenton on Monday. They blew past the Bison 12-1. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Lesley Garcia looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, West Chicago got a massive performance out of Sophia Ptak, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Mueller, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Glenbard East's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for West Chicago, their win bumped their record up to 17-10.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Glenbard East hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like West Chicago struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
