Timberlake Christian has struggled against the Ospreys recently, as their match on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Timberlake Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrian Warrick, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sawyer Epps, who scored eight points.
Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Isiah Keep, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Keep hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Micah Vandelinde was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
Timberlake Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.
