The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. On Saturday Central Cass will take on Turtle Mountain at 2:00 PM. Central Cass will be strutting in after a victory while Turtle Mountain will be stumbling in from a loss.
Last Saturday, Central Cass put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They won the contest and then some against Valley City, taking the contest 43-16. Central Cass were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Turtle Mountain suffered a grim 18-40 defeat to St. Mary's Central.
Everything went Central Cass' way against Turtle Mountain the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 34-8 win. Will Central Cass repeat their success, or does Turtle Mountain have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
