The Prairie View Thunderhawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 66-30 loss at the hands of Fossil Ridge. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Prairie View has suffered yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why Prairie View lost, one person who can't be blamed is Celicia Robles. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points along with two steals and two blocks. That was a full 66.7% of Prairie View's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Walker, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.

That's the first time this season that Smith scored 15 or more points. Natalie Lin was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prairie View won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Legacy is ranked 127th, while Prairie View is ranked 146th).
