The Caledonia-Mumford Raiders gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 68-25 win over Webber. With Caledonia-Mumford ahead 48-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Caledonia-Mumford got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Donny Peet out in front who scored 14 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Nathan Doll, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds.
Caledonia-Mumford's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Webber, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Caledonia-Mumford will be playing at home against Le Roy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Webber will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
