Copperas Cove entered their tilt with Robinson on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 10-7.

Copperas Cove let Brenna Butler and Brooklynn Wilson run wild. Butler went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Wilson went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Butler has posted over her last 16 matchups. Daphne LaChica also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

Copperas Cove always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Robinson only posted an OBP of .378.

Copperas Cove's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Robinson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

Copperas Cove wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-6 defeat against Harker Heights on the 13th. As for Robinson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-8 loss against China Spring on the 17th.
