Dreyfoos School of the Arts will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Wellington, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday.
While Dreyfoos School of the Arts won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-20.

Dreyfoos School of the Arts' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Isabella Rigaud, who had five digs and three aces, and Violet Claggett, who had five assists and two aces. That's the most assists Claggett has posted over her last four matches.
They weren't the only good servers: Dreyfoos School of the Arts was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They served six more aces than Wellington's also-impressive total of ten.
Meanwhile, Seminole Ridge can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past Ransom Everglades 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hawks have posted since September 3rd.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Seminole Ridge who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 18-25, 17-15.
Dreyfoos School of the Arts' record now sits at 9-1. As for Seminole Ridge, their record is now 7-12.
