The Scotus Shamrocks won the last time they faced the Kearney Catholic Stars, and things went their way on Saturday too. Scotus walked away with a 38-31 victory over the Stars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Scotus.
Several Stars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rylie O'Hare, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points O'Hare has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tessa Colling, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Scotus' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. As for Kearney Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.
Scotus will head out on the road to challenge the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Norfolk Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday. As for Kearney Catholic, they will be playing at home against the Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
