Despite the loss, Immanuel Christian still got an impressive performance from Hector Perez, who went 9 for 16 from beyond the arc en route to 40 points and 3 assists. Those 40 points set a new season-high mark for him. Ben Story was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Immanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Gadsden, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.
Immanuel Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Irvin at 9:00 a.m. on December 28th. Irvin is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Gadsden, they will head out on the road to face off against Goddard at 6:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
