Clovis put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 54-44 victory over the Bushland Falcons. The 54-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Clovis' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amanda De La Rosa led the charge by going 6 for 12 on her way to 20 points and seven rebounds. De La Rosa is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Clovis' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Bushland, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Clovis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-41 victory against Robertson on the 12th. As for Bushland, they will venture away from home to square off against Sudan at 6:30 p.m. on December 17th. Sudan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
