 Meanwhile, Bowdon entered their tilt with Temple on Monday with four consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with  a   14-9  win over the Tigers. Bowdon's victory was all the more impressive since the Tigers were averaging only 3.67 runs allowed on the season.
 Mt. Zion's win  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-11. As for Bowdon, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  on the road.
 Mt. Zion might still be hurting after the  10-0 loss they got from Bowdon  in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023. Can Mt. Zion avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
