While Trinity Presbyterian's win against LAMP wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Trinity Presbyterian sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-9 victory over LAMP on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won six games in a row.

Mason Hawkins looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

At the plate, Trinity Presbyterian got a massive performance out of Fleming Hall, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs Hall has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Boswell, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Trinity Presbyterian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive contests.

Trinity Presbyterian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for LAMP, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Trinity Presbyterian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Sapulpa on the 17th. LAMP has also already played their next contest (against Wetumpka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
