Basketball Recap: Bluffton Has No Trouble Against Battery Creek

Bluffton won the last time they faced Battery Creek and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bluffton Bobcats blew past the Battery Creek Dolphins 50-25. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Bluffton found their leader in sophomore Amirah Brown, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of EmmaKate McMahon, who posted ten points.

Bluffton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.3 points. As for Battery Creek, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bluffton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Beaufort at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Battery Creek, they will welcome Hampton County at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
