The Spring-Ford Rams and the Central Bucks South Titans squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Spring-Ford Rams had to settle for second. Spring-Ford took a hard 35-19 fall against Central Bucks South. Spring-Ford lost against Central Bucks South in their previous head to head back in August of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 34-24 score last time.
Despite the loss, Spring-Ford still got an impressive performance from Matt Zollers, who rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 129 yards and a touchdown.
Central Bucks South's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Corey Moore, who rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Anthony Leonardi, who rushed for 141 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.
Spring-Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Central Bucks South, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
Spring-Ford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Central Bucks South will head out on the road to face off against Central Bucks West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Bucks West will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.
