The Baldwin Braves can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They really took it to Spalding for the full four quarters, racking up a 86-32 victory at home. The victory was nothing new for Baldwin as they're now sitting on five straight.
It was another big night for Tremarius Lawrence, who scored 27 points along with six assists and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Karez Demory, who scored 18 points along with four steals.
Spalding's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Curt Clark, who scored six points, and Quadarious Clemons who scored ten points.
Baldwin is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Spalding, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.
Baldwin will head out on the road to square off against Griffin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Griffin will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Baldwin is ranked 32nd). As for Spalding, they will be playing at home against Westside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westside has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
