Baseball Recap: Monticello Comes Up Short

Monticello fell victim to Rison and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Rison, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Monticello will face off against Star City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rison, they will challenge Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
