The Lake View Wildcats entered their tilt with the North Grand Eagle Owls with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Lake View simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat North Grand 55-9 on the road. The result was nothing new for Lake View, who have now won four games by 22 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jada Marrero, who scored 25 points. The game was Marrero's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Imariz Duran, who scored 16 points.
Lake View's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for North Grand, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Lake View will be playing in front of their home fans against Clemente at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Grand, they will head out on the road to face off against North Lawndale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Lawndale has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
