Columbia has gone 6-1 against Boise recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Columbia Wildcats will be playing at home against the Boise Brave at 5:00 p.m. Columbia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.8 runs per game this season.
On Saturday, Columbia didn't have quite enough to beat Meridian and fell 10-9. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parker Harrison put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 4.1 innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, James Rodriguez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Aidan Chatterton, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Boise, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Caldwell by a score of 7-4 on Friday. The Brave haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Boise let Chase Tommack and Sascha Stoll run wild. Tommack scored three runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Stoll scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Stoll is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Rodriguez, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases.
Boise now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Columbia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Boise's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Columbia hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .330. It's a different story for Boise, though, as they've only averaged .244. Will they be able to contain Columbia's hitters?
Columbia skirted past Boise 5-4 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will Columbia repeat their success, or does Boise have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
