The Omaha Christian Academy Eagles lost against the Brownell Talbot Raiders back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Brownell Talbot's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Matt Schinzel, who scored 18 points along with five steals. Ahaan Gulati was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 13 rebounds and five steals.
Omaha Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Brownell Talbot, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Omaha Christian Academy will take on Mead at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mead presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Omaha Christian Academy in Nebraska (Mead is ranked 84th, while Omaha Christian Academy is ranked 247th). As for Brownell Talbot, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Lourdes Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th. Hopefully Brownell Talbot focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Monday.
