Virginia Episcopal School lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Billy Koudelka, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Koudelka hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Lukas Buinevicius, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Eastern Mennonite is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Virginia Episcopal School, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
Eastern Mennonite won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against The Covenant at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. The Covenant will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 287th, while Eastern Mennonite is ranked 46th).
