Northeast lost against Rutland back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Raiders fell 2-0 to the Hurricanes. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Northeast may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Rutland, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-20.

Northeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Central on the 24th. As for Rutland, they will square off against Howard at 6:00 p.m. on October 2.
