Charlotte Christian extended their home winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Holden Gore. The Knights skirted past the Sun Valley Spartans 3-2 for which the team can thank Gore, who had 15 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Charlotte Christian wouldn't go down easily and took Sun Valley into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-11, 21-25, 25-16, 15-11.

Charlotte Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sun Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
