Holly had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the Granada Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-1 on Tuesday.
Truman King made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Holly is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 5-6 otherwise. King was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Holly got a massive performance out of Drayden Williams, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. Williams is becoming a predictor of the Wildcats' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-6 when he doesn't). Jerry Holdren was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
Holly kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

As for Granada, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.
