Niko Eckley and Joey Santostefano provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Hillsborough Baptist. The connection went for 63 yards, the longest such play in Florida Christian II (7 Man) this season.
Solid Rock Community led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on the Lions. Eckley threw for 164 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 114 yards during the win.
Solid Rock Community's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Crusaders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Eckley has thrown for 588 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Santostefano has 12 catches for 410 yards. Eckley also leads the league in rushing with 607 yards.
The most important game in Florida Christian II (7 Man) this week will be the match up between the Crusaders and Academy at the Lakes. Solid Rock Community enters the game ranked fifth in the state, while the Wildcats ranks second.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Paul Eckley's team takes on Academy at the Lakes. The Crusaders have allowed 102 points this season, while Tom Haslam's team has given up 104. Solid Rock Community allowed 12 points last week as it beat Hillsborough Baptist.
The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of the Crusaders' Eckley. Solid Rock Community defeated Ricky Draper's team when he connected with Santostefano on a 63-yard pass.
