The Carey Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They really took it to Hansen for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-43 victory at home. That 28 point margin sets a new team best for Carey this season.
Carey got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Owen Parke out in front who scored 17 points along with three steals. Preston Wood was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Carey now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Hansen, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Murtaugh the next time they take the court. Hansen will head out to face Murtaugh at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Carey will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
