The last time they met, Lee were the 38-34 winner over Buffalo Gap. This time around? They had no such luck. It was close but no cigar for Lee as they fell 38-40 to Buffalo Gap on Tuesday. The defeat was a vexing one since Lee were expected to win based on their state ranking.
The loss dropped Lee back to even at 2-2. The win bumped Buffalo Gap's record up to 3-1.
Lee will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Wilson Memorial. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Buffalo Gap will stay at home against Page County at 7:00 PM. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
