Shattuck is 3-0 against Garber since September of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Shattuck Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Garber Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. Shattuck will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
Shattuck stacked a eighth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 54-8 win over Beaver. Given Shattuck's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 14th, while Beaver is ranked 74th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Garber can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They claimed a resounding 58-6 victory over Kremlin-Hillsdale at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Garber.
Trenton Hoopes was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. Nic Najera made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Their wins bumped Shattuck to 8-2 and Garber to 5-5.
Everything came up roses for Shattuck against Garber in their previous matchup back in November of 2019 as the squad secured a 46-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shattuck since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
