After a string of three wins, Valley View's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Salado Eagles by a score of 35-32.

Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Salado, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley View will venture away from home to square off against Howe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Howe will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Valley View surely won't give up without a fight. Salado and Gateway College Preparatory will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
