While Manchester's win against Orrville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Red Riders 6-4. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Red Riders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Hunter Evans was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Jace Speedy was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Manchester's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Orrville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Manchester will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Riders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
