Basketball Recap: Belmont Skates Past Pine Grove with Ease

Belmont won the last time they faced Pine Grove and things went their way on Friday too. The Belmont Cardinals simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pine Grove Panthers 54-19. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Belmont is also on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for Pine Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.

Belmont will square off against Alcorn Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Alcorn Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Pine Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
