The Creekside Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Bartram Trail Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Creekside will be strutting in after a victory while Bartram Trail will be coming in after a defeat.
The third road match was the charm for Creekside, as they earned their first road win of the season. They really took it to The Rock for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-30 win on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-16.
Creekside got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Siun Crowley out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Spivey, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Bartram Trail was the victim of a tough 52-30 defeat at the hands of Ponte Vedra on Friday. Bartram Trail has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Miranda Campos, who scored 6 points along with 9 rebounds.
Creekside's victory lifted them to 2-2 while The Rock's loss dropped them down to 0-3.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Creekside hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 51.2 points per game. It's a different story for Bartram Trail, though, as they've been averaging only 40 per game. The only thing between Creekside and another offensive beatdown is Bartram Trail.
