The Fairmont Golden Tornadoes will take on the South Brunswick Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairmont will be strutting in after a victory while South Brunswick will be coming in after a defeat.
Fairmont needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight matches and they got it from Layla Hunt. The Golden Tornadoes put the hurt on Whiteville with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday with plenty of help from Hunt, who had 16 assists and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last four times she's played.
While Fairmont won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-23.
