 Meanwhile, Battle Mountain took their  contest at home  on Thursday with ease, bagging  a  42-7 win over North Tahoe. Given the Longhorns' advantage  in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states  (they are ranked 69th in Nevada, while the Lakers are ranked 1040th in California), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Incline's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Battle Mountain, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
