Holland Patent has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the New Hartford Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Holland Patent focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Wednesday.
Even though Holland Patent has not done well against Proctor recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way. Holland Patent managed a 40-34 win over Proctor.
It was another big night for Michaela Cushman, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Terralyn McLaughlin, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to New Hartford, who are still winless after their fourth match. They took a hard 47-32 fall against Oneida on Friday.
Holland Patent now has a winning record of 6-5. As for New Hartford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
Things could have been worse for Holland Patent, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 44-28 loss to New Hartford when the teams last played back in January of 2023.
