There's no place like home for Spring Garden, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Sand Rock Wildcats a 7-0 shutout on Monday. Considering the Panthers have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Spring Garden's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-9-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Sand Rock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

Spring Garden wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 22-0 victory against Gaylesville on the 15th. Sand Rock has also already played their next contest (against Pleasant Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
