Sayville (N.Y.) extended its winning streak to seven games with a 42-9 victory over Kings Park (N.Y.) on Saturday.
The Golden Flashes were up 28-0 at the half after taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter.
Zachary Sirico stood out for Sayville in the win. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for two touchdowns.
The Kingsmen's Tom Venier played well. The senior caught one touchdown.
Kings Park's lone touchdown came on a 35-yard pass from Sean Snead to Venier in the fourth quarter.
KP came in surrendering 14.2 points per game this season. SHS came into the game allowing 8.5 points per game.
A 18-6 Sayville victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The loss comes after Kings Park defeated Deer Park 14-6 last week.
In a Section 11 Division III game next week Sayville (7-0) takes on Deer Park, and Kings Park (5-2) will go up against Huntington also in a Section 11 Division III game.
